5 reasons why you should buy from us

You're probably thinking, why should I buy from Software Care? It's just like all of the other Linux CD shops. Wrong. We do things a lot differently than other shops out there.

Reason 1 - Unique and eye catching artwork

All of our artwork is made with a great program called Inkscape, an open source vector graphics editor. Parts of our designs are used throughout all distributions' artwork so you'll know you're getting the great quality of artwork you deserve through Software Care.

Reason 2 - Clearly labeled designs

With our CDs, our designs are clearly labeled to tell you what version, distribution, architecture, and CD number(s) it is, so you won't get mixed up with which disk is which!

Reason 3 - We use only open source software

We don't use closed source programs like MS Word or even MS Windows. We use only Linux to design and print artwork. Even the artwork is made by open source software. We don't secretly use Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator to make our artwork. The website is open source as well, powered by the amazing Drupal CMS with the Ubercart module.

Reason 4 - Free computer case labels

We give out a free computer case label to show your friends that you're a proud Linux user. Note that this only applies to certain distributions.

Reason 5 - We don't make money from postage

Our system can work out how much to charge you for postage, and keeps it at how low it should be. We don't make any profit from postage and packaging costs!
